details
Impact! Brain Injuries and World War I explores the history of brain injuries in Cambridgeshire as a result of the First World War. This project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, was led by a group of people with brain injuries who currently attend Headway Cambridgeshire. They have researched the untold history of soldiers in the Cambridgeshire Regiment who received brain injuries, and the hospitals in Cambridge where they were treated. This research has been illustrated on posters by Cambridge School of Art BA(Hons) Illustration students, to promote the project.
